Overview

Acabonac Farms needed a better Shopify landing page experience for shoppers exploring its meat collections. Because the brand does not sell through standard product pages, the goal was not to push visitors into a typical ecommerce grid. Instead, the page needed to educate, build trust, reinforce the brand story, and guide users intentionally toward the ordering portal.

I redesigned the page in Replo for Shopify, creating a more story-driven and conversion-focused experience that preserved the existing banner aesthetic while making the page feel more premium, informative, and action-oriented.

The challenge

This project required a different approach than a standard Shopify collection page redesign.

The client wanted to keep visual continuity with the home page, but the page also needed to do much more than display products. Since purchases happened through a separate portal, I had to rethink the page structure around brand narrative, sourcing philosophy, product integrity, and buyer confidence rather than traditional category merchandising.

The client could provide product photography, but additional assets and page direction needed to be sourced or created as part of the build.

My approach

I approached the landing page as a guided conversion journey.

Instead of relying on standard featured collections or product-first merchandising, I reworked the layout into a narrative flow that helped visitors understand:

  • where the food comes from
  • why the farming practices matter
  • how the ordering process works
  • what makes the meats different
  • why the brand can be trusted
  • where to click next to start an order

I also structured the build with reusable section logic so future landing pages could be developed more efficiently.

What I designed and built

The finished page includes:

  • a branded hero section with strong headline copy and portal-driven CTAs
  • trust and standards messaging near the top of the page
  • a promise section highlighting product and farming differentiators
  • a story-led section explaining the Acabonac farming philosophy
  • a “How It Works” section to reduce friction around the ordering flow
  • premium product category cards for beef, chicken, and lamb
  • an origin story section to deepen brand connection
  • customer testimonial and review content for social proof
  • a FAQ section to answer buying questions and reduce hesitation
  • a final CTA section that invites visitors to explore the farm and continue deeper into the brand

Best visible improvement

The biggest improvement was turning a catch-all page into a clear, persuasive story.

The finished design feels more premium and more intentional. Instead of dropping visitors into a generic browse experience, the page now walks them through the brand promise, product quality, process, proof, and next step. That is especially important for a high-trust category like premium meat and regenerative farming.

This project is a strong example of how I think beyond page design alone.

I was not just placing content into Replo. I was shaping the strategy for how the page should convert based on the brand’s business model, visual identity, and buying flow.
