WordPress Landing Page Build
Standalone landing page design and development for K1FIT, a kickboxing and functional strength program by ZenSport. Built on WordPress with Clubworx booking integrated as the single conversion path.
Highlights
- Standalone landing page built to give a buried program its own room
- WordPress audit first: plugin conflicts, theme cleanup, and page speed
- Clubworx booking wired into every CTA as the single conversion path
- Photography directed and compressed from 10-17MB studio originals
- Schedule and pricing surfaced above the fold instead of buried
Overview
ZenSport hired me to audit and maintain their WordPress site. The brief was maintenance work: keep plugins and themes current, troubleshoot what was breaking, and build new landing pages when needed. The audit surfaced the usual plugin conflicts and page speed wins, but the more interesting finding was structural, and it turned into the project’s centerpiece.
The Challenge
ZenSport is built around speed and strength training for athletes, so K1FIT, their adult kickboxing program, was getting a paragraph and a link on a page about something else. People interested in kickboxing were landing in an athlete-development context and leaving before they ever found a class time. The program needed its own room, in a voice bold enough to match the workout, without dragging the rest of the ZenSport brand with it.
What I Built
WordPress audit first: Plugin and theme review, safe core updates, then tested forms, mobile layout, and every key page before touching anything else.
Standalone landing page linked from the main navigation, so K1FIT speaks in its own voice rather than competing with athlete training content.
Three-pillar structure: Real technique over movement, functional strength integration with plyometrics and bodyweight work, and station-based efficiency built for a busy professional’s calendar.
Clubworx booking integration: Hero, schedule section, mid-page, and footer all point to the same booking URL, so the page never asks a visitor which button to press.
Photography direction: Selected the shots that carry the promise, then compressed them down from the raw studio originals, which ran 10 to 17 MB each.
Results
The program went from a buried paragraph to a page that sells it, with the schedule, pricing, and booking all one scroll away. Monday to Saturday, 9:30 to 10:15 AM, $15 drop-in and $12 for students and evening ZenSport members, 16 people max per class. The page is live at zensportspeed.com/k1fit-kickboxing.
